1. Registration and confirmation

Submitting a registration is an offer to book a place; it does not create a contract until we confirm your place in writing. Places are allocated in the order registrations are confirmed. We may decline a registration, and will tell you why if we do.

2. Minimum numbers and confirmation of a programme

Public programmes require a minimum number of participants to proceed. We confirm an intake at least ten working days before the start date and notify all registered participants by email. If an intake does not reach minimum numbers, you may choose either a transfer to the next available date or a full refund of fees paid.

3. Fees, invoicing and tax

Published fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit per participant and exclude Sales and Service Tax, which is added at the prevailing rate where applicable. Invoices are payable within thirty days of issue, or before the programme start date, whichever is earlier. We may withhold a place where an invoice is overdue and no payment arrangement has been agreed.

Where an early bird rate is advertised, it applies automatically to registrations made within the stated period. No code is required.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations must be sent in writing to training@yourdomain.com, quoting your registration reference. The notice period runs from the date we receive your written cancellation to the first day of the programme, per the schedule above.

Where a fifty percent refund applies, you may instead elect to hold the full amount as a credit against any programme running within the following twelve months. Approved refunds are paid to the original payer within fourteen working days.

5. Substitution and transfer

You may substitute a different participant at any time before the programme starts, at no charge, including within the seven-day window. Email us the replacement participant's details so we can update the attendance register and certificate.

One free transfer to a later intake of the same programme is permitted where written notice is received more than seven days before the start date. Subsequent transfers incur an administration fee of ten percent of the fee. Transfers are subject to availability on the target intake.

6. Non-attendance

A participant who does not attend without prior written notice remains liable for the full fee. No refund or credit is issued, and no certificate is available.

7. Delivery of the programme

We will deliver the programme substantially as described on its page. We may substitute a facilitator of equivalent standing, adjust the venue, or make minor amendments to content where this improves the programme or is made necessary by circumstances outside our control. Material changes are notified to registered participants.

8. In-house and customised programmes

In-house bookings are governed by the terms set out in the signed proposal or purchase order, which take precedence over this page. As a general rule: cancellation more than twenty-one days before delivery incurs no charge; between seven and twenty-one days, fifty percent of the fee is payable; within seven days the full fee is payable, reflecting customisation work and facilitator time already committed.

9. Participant conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and to respect the confidentiality of information shared by others in the room. We may remove a participant whose conduct disrupts the session or endangers others, without refund.

10. Intellectual property in course materials

All course materials — slides, workbooks, exercises, templates and recordings — remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors, and are provided for the personal use of the registered participant. They may not be reproduced, distributed, resold or used to deliver training to others without our prior written consent.

11. Certificates and recognition

Certificates of completion are issued to participants who attend the full programme. Where attendance is materially incomplete we may decline to issue one. A certificate records attendance and, where applicable, assessment; it is not a professional licence or a qualification awarded by a regulatory body unless expressly stated. CPD recognition, where it applies, is stated on the programme page — see CPD & professional development.

12. Limitation of liability

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or travel and accommodation costs — so we recommend booking refundable travel. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for failure to deliver a programme where this is caused by an event outside our reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, government restriction, industrial action or failure of public infrastructure. In such cases we will offer a transfer to a later date or a refund of fees paid.

14. Data protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

16. Questions

If something has gone wrong or your circumstances are unusual, contact us at training@yourdomain.com before assuming the answer. We would rather find a workable outcome than apply a clause rigidly.
